We believe that the fullest moments in life come from adventure and new experiences.

Our team is dedicated to helping you find those moments. We are not ultra-luxury van builders; we’re people who love spending time outdoors and design vans that are dependable, beautiful, and easy to use.

We love the freedom and simplicity of van life, and we think that you will too.

OUR STORY

Hey! I’m Alex, and I founded Stoked Vans to provide others with the means to experience genuine adventure.

Before Stoked Vans, I spent six years serving as a Special Operations Officer in the military. After my last deployment, I decided to dive fully into simple living. I sold almost everything I owned, bought a van from a friend, and hit the road.

Life was good. I absolutely loved the simplicity of living out of a van, and I spent the better part of a year climbing, hiking, and exploring full-time. When it came time to transition out of military, I decided to spend the next chapter of my life sharing those experiences with others.

Since its beginning, Stoked Vans has been about much more than renting vans; our mission is to help others get out and have exciting new experiences. We believe that vans are an awesome way to do that, but there are plenty of other options too. Even if you’re not renting one of our vans, feel free to hit us up for some of our favorite climbing and camping spots.

FAQs

The nightly rate varies based on the van and the dates/length of the rental, but it’s typically between $180-240 per night.

Insurance is another $29-45 per day, depending on the coverage that you choose.

That’s it. There’s no mysterious “service” or “administrative” fee, no cleaning fee, no pet fee (you actually save 10% if you bring a dog with you!), and no mileage fees.

For now, we ask that you just send us a message on our contact page (or to alex@stokedvans.com) with the van that you’re interested in and your trip dates. We’ll get back to you ASAP.

Nope! You’re welcome to drive as far as you want. Just give us a heads up if your plans change while you’re on the road.

Renters are welcome to pick up their van any time between 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and we ask that the van is returned by 6:00 PM on your last day. We may be able to accommodate times outside of that window on a case-by-case basis.

A lot. Our standard policy is to have the van loaded up with just about everything that you’d expect from an Airbnb: clean bedding, blankets, pillows, cookware, coffee, spices, and a bunch of useful camping things.

We currently have a fully-converted 2023 AWD Transit named Moab for sale! You can find info, pictures, and pricing here.

We’re honestly pretty proud to have made history with the only “reverse pet-fee” policy that we know of: renters who bring their dog(s) with them on their trip will receive 10% off the total cost of their reservation.

We have a cattle dog named Kona (you can say hi to her on our contact page), and we know how important it is for us to make her a part of every adventure that we have. We would never want our renters to debate bringing their dogs along with them because of obnoxious added fees.

Note: dogs must demonstrate at least one cool trick to be fully eligible. Stoked Vans staff reserves the right to determine the objective coolness of any given trick.

For now, all of our vans only have two seatbelts, but we’re planning on getting at least one family-friendly van down the road.
